I'm an entirely self taught artist. I work in a variety of materials but favour oil, watercolour and pencil the best ( I've tried pastels and can't get on with them!). If you look round the site you'll see I'll have a go at painting pretty much anything. I'm very much a how the mood grabs me artist. My main love is painting the sea and surfing. I rediscovered surfing a few years ago (after a break of about 20 twenty years)
I can be found surfing up and down the North Coast of Devon and Cornwall. Sennen is my favourite break. The painting is a hobby which pays for new boards and gear.
I currently live in a tiny hamlet in the Wiltshire Cotswolds with my better half Francesca ( the understanding surf widdow and occassional body boarder) and my boy Callum ( promising grom').
Being landlocked I've had to find an alterantive to surfing, hence the mountain boarding. Like surfing its great fun, but wipeouts hurt a lot more.
